Attacker smashes glasses of girl, 14, in Telford
A 14-year-old girl had her glasses smashed after being punched repeatedly in an attack in Telford, police said today.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened in Stafford Road, Oakengates, just before 6pm on Monday.
Words were exchanged between the two girls when the victim was hit full in the face by the other girl who then grabbed the girl's hair and punched her several times.
She kicked her in the stomach and hit her again in the face, smashing her glasses.
Witnesses should call the violent crime team in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting incident number 458S 010313.
