Raid on shop nets illegal haul of tobacco valued at £15,000
Police and trading standards officers smashed their way into a shop on the Shropshire border to find a stash of 85,000 illegal cigarettes.

The 'significant haul' is thought to have a street value of £15,000 and was found during a raid at a store in Drapers Lane, Leominster, on Friday.
Police said the cigarettes were non-UK duty paid and were a combination of smuggled and counterfeit packets.
The stash included legitimate brands such as Mayfair, along with stickers indicating UK duty had been paid on them, and counterfeit brands with names such as MG and Minsk. More than eight kilograms of illegal hand-rolling tobacco was also seized.Two men were arrested and have been bailed by police pending further enquiries.
