Witness appeal over shot fired at Shrewsbury house
Police are investigating after a shot was fired at a house in Shrewsbury.
No one was hurt but a window was damaged at the property in Albert Square, Harlescott. Police said it appeared a single shot had been fired from a shotgun.
Officers have carried out house-to-house inquiries and are appealing for information. They are looking for witnesses who may have seen a vehicle being driven "erratically" in the area at about 10.45pm on Thursday.
Chief Inspector Paul Moxley of West Mercia Police said: "The circumstances are being investigated and several witnesses have already come forward to assist us.
"However, we are anxious to hear from anyone who spotted one or more people acting suspiciously in the Albert Square area between about 10.15pm and 11pm on Thursday night."
Call police on 101.
