Victim assaulted in Whitchurch street
A man suffered three fractures of his eye socket when he was punched and kicked in an afternoon assault.

The 29-year-old was taken to hospital after he was attacked by another man in Bridgewater Street, Whitchurch, at about 4.50pm on Thursday.
After being punched in the face and chest, he was knocked to the ground and further kicked around the head.
Pc Tanya Grey said: "There was a long queue of traffic at the time and a number of people must have witnessed what happened. I appeal to them to get in touch."
Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101.
