Man and sons fined for Telford garden furniture theft
A man and his two sons have been fined for stealing garden furniture from a business in Telford.

Trevor Hadlington, 61, of Sycamore Road, in Tipton, and sons Scott, 26, and Stuart, 25, both of Willow Road, in Dudley, had been in Telford feeding a horse belonging to one of the sons on August 12 when they saw the wicker table and chairs belonging to Hartman House, based on Halesfield.
Prosecuting at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday, Abigail Hall said the company exports and distributes garden furniture.
She said the company's logistics manager, Brian Morris, had been watching CCTV footage from his home address at around 10pm that night when he saw three men approach metal gates at the site. One entered and lifted the items to the two others who put them in the back of a van.
Mr Morris contacted the police with a partial number plate of the vehicle.
Miss Hall said: "Officers located the vehicle while they were stationary at Sutton Maddock.
"In the rear of the van they found a number of items of garden furniture."
The men were arrested and taken to Malinsgate Police Station where they admitted taking the items.
Miss Hall added that Trevor Hadlington said he had intended to sell the items on.
The furniture, valued at £400, was recovered.
Each man was ordered to pay a fine of £100, court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £30.
