Shrewsbury firefighter will face trial
A former Shropshire retained firefighter will face a charge of perverting the course of justice at a trial to be held next year.

Ex-Pontesbury retained firefighter David Pearson, aged 32, of Station Road, Pontesbury, Shrewsbury, denied the charge in August of this year.
On Monday he appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where a date was set for his trial to begin on February 21, 2017.
The charge relates to the alleged deleting of messages from a mobile phone.
