Police appeal after spate of Shropshire shed and office break-ins

Police are calling for information after a series of office and shed break-ins around south Shropshire.

Most recently a wall safe was discovered broken into at St Laurence's Church in Church Stretton on Tuesday, though police say it may have been burgled any time since October 17.

In Bishop's Castle, between November 4 and Tuesday, a large Lacy jet-powered renderings pump trailer was stolen from a contractor's store at a housing development in Union Street.

In Cleobury Mortimer, power tools including a Stihl saw, a leaf blower and some hand tools were taken from two outbuildings between the evening of November 5 and the morning of November 6, and two suspects were later detained by a local policing patrol. An attempt was made to break into a detached garage at Redthorne Hill in the same period.

In Ludlow, between November 3 and 4, a business premises in Attorneys Walk, was broken into and a safe box and a small quantity of cash taken.

Between the same time and November 7, the Millenium Green Trust office in Dinham was raided.

Finally a building and two containers were broken into at business premises in Parys Road between noon on October 18 and November 3. A piano was damaged and a pedal cycle stolen.
