Police investigate assault on Welsh Bridge in Shrewsbury
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Shrewsbury.

West Mercia Police were called to Welsh Bridge at about 8.45pm on Saturday to reports of an assault.
The force said a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital as a result.
The scene, outside Hatchers Solicitors in Frankwell, was taped off by officers with pedestrians asked to walk on the other side of the bridge.
Police tape and officers were still at the scene at about midnight.
