Seven admit conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm to man in Telford
Five men, a woman and a 17-year-old youth, have all admitted being involved in a conspiracy to cause serious harm to a man who was found at a Telford house with multiple injuries.
The 21-year-old victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was discovered at a private address in Willowfield, Woodside, on September 1 last year.
At a hearing at Birmingham Crown Court Luke Mansell, 23, and Nathan Peter Bates, 19, both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
At an earlier hearing Daniel Doyle, 24, Dean Butler, 23, Stephanie Christine Titley, 25, Gavin Smith, 19, and the 17-year-old, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, had all admitted the same charge.
Stephanie Titley has also pleaded guilty to a charge of false imprisonment which all the other six defendants have denied.
All seven defendants had also previously denied a charge of conspiracy to murder and the Crown Prosecution Service indicated that the defendants' guilty pleas were accepted and it would not be seeking a trial.
Mr Justice Dove adjourned sentence until February 28 for reports.
The defendants, all from Telford, were Mansell, of Southgate, Sutton Hill; Bates, of Villa Court, Madeley; Doyle, of Smallwood, Sutton Hill; Butler, of no fixed address; Titley, of Willowfield, Woodside, Smith; of Southgate, Sutton Hill and the 17-year-old. They are all remanded in custody.
