Spate of car number plate thefts in Shrewsbury
Police are investigating a number of incidents of number plates being removed from cars in Shrewsbury.

Officers say a front number plate was unscrewed from a car on a piece of land on the corner of Mardol and Smithfield Road between 6pm on Saturday and midday on Sunday.
At around 2.30am on Sunday, an attempt was made to take the number plates from a vehicle in a hotel car park in Mardol.
Earlier in the week, between 8.30am and 5.30pm on February 16, number plates were also taken from a car in the Meole Brace Park & Ride car park.
