Telford stabbing: Woman, 30, charged with wounding with intent

A woman has been charged with wounding with intent after a man suffered serious stab wounds at a flat in Telford.

Laura Carol Rhodes, aged 30, of no fixed abode, has been charged with wounding with intent following the incident at in Terrace Lodge, King Street, Dawley, in the early hours of Monday morning.

Following the incident a 48-year-old man from Telford was taken to hospital with serious stab wounds.

Rhodes appeared at Telford Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody.

She will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on April 20. The man's condition is described as serious but stable.
