Man assaulted in Wellington nightclub
A man was left with a broken jaw after being assaulted in a nightclub.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the alleged attack that happened at Pussycats Nightclub on Tan Bank in Wellington.
Officers said sometime between 1.30am and 2.30am on Friday, a man in his 30s is believed to have been assaulted on the dance floor.
He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a broken jaw.
The attacker has been described as a white man, in his late 20s, approximately 5ft 8in tall, with light brown hair.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or was in the nightclub at the time to come forward.
