Warning after anti-social behaviour by Market Drayton church
Police have issued a warning after an increase in anti-social behaviour at a town's church.
Constable Mick Sturland, of Market Drayton's safer neighbourhood team, said they have been aware of some anti-social behaviour behind St Mary's Church.
He added: "Now Easter is upon us and schools are out, anti-social behaviour is usually more prevelant.
"I would urge all parents and carers to make sure you know where you're children are and what they're up to.
"You could get a visit from us if they participate in such activity to the annoyance or nuisance of others. We'll be stepping up foot patrol at key spots during the holidays."
Police are also asking people to be vigilant in Market Drayton after residents were visited by a suspected bogus "gas board" official last week.
