Oswestry woman due in court over attempted murder of newborn baby
A woman will appear in court charged with the attempted murder of a newborn baby girl in Shropshire.
The 31-year-old woman from Oswestry will appear at Telford Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
She has not been named for legal reasons.
The baby was discovered with serious injuries in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury, on April 22, 2016.
The child remains in the care of the local authority.
