'Card duplication device' found on Telford cash machine
A suspected "card duplication device" has been found on a cash machine in Telford.
The suspicious device was discovered on a cash machine in Wrekin Drive, Donnington.
Officers suspect it is a card duplication device and it is now being examined.
Paul Roberts, spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "Police were called shortly after 1.30pm on Wednesday after a suspicious device was discovered on a cash machine in Wrekin Drive, Donnington.
"Officers attended and the suspected card duplication device has been recovered and is being examined. The cash point operator has been made aware and will be examining the machine.
"Anyone who spots suspicious activity around any ATM's in the area is urged to contact police on 101."
A Telford resident took to social media after her card was cloned in Stirchley.
Dana Morby said: "Be very careful using the cash points around Telford people, I had my card cloned last Wednesday at the Stirchley Co-op.
"Within two hours they tried to use it to pay for something in London for £963 then again the next afternoon for £621, luckily the bank stopped it going through."
