There’s a new camera has been put up in Jubilee Park, with plans to add another in Wheatfield Park.

It comes after new equipment was damaged in Wheatfield and a bench and fence were broken at Priorslee Road Cemetery.

There have also been a number of instances where the public toilets have been flooded, forcing them to be closed.

But Liz Goodman, from the town council, said the increase in CCTV has allowed the perpetrators to be identified.

The new camera at Jubilee Park has been installed by West Mercia Police.

Shifnal Town Council clerk, Mac Sandal, said: “It is important that the people who are carrying out anti-social behaviour in Shifnal realise that all of the partners in Team Shifnal and Albrighton are working together.

“We would encourage anyone with concerns and worries about anti-social behaviour to report it on 0345 678 9020. If it is not reported, no one else knows about it.”
