Six to face Shrewsbury affray trial this summer

Two men, a women and three youths from Shrewsbury are to face trial at crown court for an allegation of affray.

The six defendants all deny the charge relating to an incident in Shrewsbury in June last year.

At Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday Judge Peter Barrie confirmed the trial will be held on July 10.

In court were Thomas Barnes, 19, of Whitehouse Gardens, Demi Jennings, 21, of New Park Road, Daniel Page, 19, of Summer Gardens, and three 17-year-old youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

All six defendants were allowed bail.
