Telford man, 36, in court on manslaughter charge

A Telford man has appeared in court accused of manslaughter.

Neil Hotchkiss, of Stone Row, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old is charged with the manslaughter of Scott Taylor on August 17, 2012.

During the brief hearing, he spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.

Hotchkiss, who appeared in court wearing a black coat and black trousers, was represented by Ms Melanie Camm.

The case was committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on June 5.

Hotchkiss was released on unconditional bail until the hearing.
