Telford coach driver in court for dangerous driving

A coach driver has appeared in court charged with causing serious injury to two people by driving dangerously.

Stuart West, aged 55, of School Road, Madeley, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.

He denied two charges of causing serious injury to Cole Macera and Hannah Bowen by driving dangerously on the A41 at Gorsey Bank, Shifnal, on October 5 last year.

West appeared in custody and spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.

The case was committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court where West will appear on June 12.

He was released on unconditional bail until the hearing.
