Rikki Purchase, 38, of Hunters Gate, admitted the conversion of criminal property worth £191,691, which he knew was the proceeds of criminal conduct.

At a previous hearing, he denied the theft of £667,175 from engineering company, MI Engineering, a plea accepted at Shrewsbury Crown Court

His wife, Aimee Purchase, admitted fraud at an earlier hearing.

Judge Jim Tindal gave an indication to Purchase's barrister Mrs Debra White that her client's sentence would be no more than two years.

He said he could give no guarantee that the sentence would be suspended.

Mrs White said Purchase was concerned for the couple's three young children.

Judge Tindal adjourned sentence of both Purchase and his wife to June 16 and urged him to cooperate with the probation service in the preparation of reports.
