Vandals damage tree saplings in Whitchurch
One of a town's biggest annual events was marred as vandals damaged three sapling trees which were only planted last year.

Two Acer trees and one red Crimson tree were damaged in Jubilee Park, Whitchurch.
The damage is believed to have been caused on Saturday night – on the same day as the town's annual Party in the Park event.
Nicola Young, town council clerk, said the issue is expected to be discussed at the next meeting of the council's parks committee.
Party in the Park returned to Whitchurch at the weekend on the same day as the Worldwide Whitchurch celebrations and Peak Truck Show.
