Cash and jewellery among items stolen from properties in North Shropshire

Cash, jewellery and lead from a roof are among the items which have been stolen from properties in the north of the region.

Cash and jewellery were taken from a property in Calverhall Road, Ightfield, near Whitchurch, which was broken into and searched between 11.35am and 1.35pm on Tuesday.

Between 4pm on May 27 and 11am on Sunday a shed at a house in Ellesmere Road, Wem, was raided and three vacuum cleaners and a crate of cider were stolen.

Power tools including a small red chainsaw and a large petrol strimmer were removed from a garden shed at a property in Soulton Road, Wem, between 10pm on May 29 and 10pm on May 31.

An unregistered red and black Lambretta GP125 was taken from a detached garage at the rear of a house in Welshampton between 10am on May 29 and 10am on June 3.

A metal garden shed in Dutton Close, Market Drayton, was forced open between 10am and 12noon on Monday.

Between 9pm and 11.15pm on Sunday a window was smashed, a door damaged, and car and house keys taken from a flat in Shropshire Street, Market Drayton.

On June 1 the theft of lead from a porch roof in Claypit Street, Whitchurch, which happened between May 29 May and June 1 was reported.
