Newsagents and takeaway targeted by thieves in Whitchurch and Market Drayton
A newsagents and takeaway have been targeted by thieves in two market towns.
Cash was stolen from a takeaway in Whitchurch High Street between 5.50am and 6.15am last Saturday.
A male, described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build and wearing jeans and a black bomber-style coat with a grey hoody underneath, was seen acting suspiciously at the location at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, an attempt to break into a newsagents in Cheshire Street, Market Drayton, was reported on Tuesday.
The incident occurred some time between last Saturday and Monday.
A male described as white, in his late 20s/early 30s, approximately 5.8 tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and wearing a blue long sleeved top was seen at the door at about 11.30pm on Monday.
