Market Drayton houses targeted by burglars
Houses have been targeted by burglars in Market Drayton.
Cash and jewellery were stolen from a house in Smithfield Road, between 2pm and 3pm on June 8 while the occupants were out for a walk.
A handbag was taken from a house in Manor Close in the town between 9pm on June 7 and 9am on June 8.
The handbag, less its contents, was later found abandoned in a hedge in Longslow Road.
Meanwhile, a jacket with a fluffy hood and containing a bunch of keys was taken from a park bench in Longlands Lane, Market Drayton, while the mother was pushing a swing for her daughter at around 4pm on Tuesday.
