‘Brutal’ attack on pensioner in home
An elderly woman is in hospital after being brutally attacked in her own home.

The 88-year-old victim was found by a neighbour with "significant facial and arm injuries" at her home in Dolfor, near Newtown.
Dyfed Powys Police said the victim had been taken to hospital and remained in a stable condition.
Police spokeswoman Katy Simmons said the incident was reported to police on Monday, and urged anyone with information to contact police immediately on 101.
She said officers were also to speak to anyone who has a dashboard camera and was driving along Upper Dolfor Road between 9am and 5pm.
