Man, 22, admits trying to escape from Stoke Heath Prison
A man has admitted attempting to escape from Stoke Heath Prison, near Market Drayton.
Jorden Hart, who is currently at Dovegate Prison in Uttoxeter, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.
The 22-year-old was charged with attempting to escape from lawful custody at Stoke Heath on February 16.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and during yesterday’s hearing.
The case was committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court where Hart is expected to be sentenced on August 14.
He was remanded in custody.
