Peter Rose, of Watling Street, Wellington, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft when he made an appearance at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
The court heard how between January 1, 2011, and October 29, 2016, he admitted to stealing £102,067 belonging to his victim.
Jason Pegg, defending, told the court that a psychologist’s report was to be compiled with a pre-sentence report to follow before 60-year-old Rose is sentenced.
Judge Jonathan Gosling said Rose would be sentenced on the completion of the report. He set a date of October 2 for the case to go back before the court.
