Man released on bail after armed police drama in Whitchurch
A man arrested on suspicion of threatening behaviour with a gun in Whitchurch has been released on police bail.
Armed police were called to an address in Queensway at around 2pm on Saturday.
They arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicious of unlawful possession and threatening behaviour with a firearm.
He has been released until September 8.
Inspector Jeff Morris said an investigation is underway and anyone with information should call the police on 101.
