Store worker threatened by a man carrying a 'bladed object' during Shrewsbury robbery
A member of staff was threatened by a man carrying a bladed object during a robbery at a store in Shrewsbury.
The man left with an amount of cash during the robbery which took place at Robson Stores, Ellesmere Road.
The man entered the store at about 12.50pm on Saturday and produced the bladed object.
He subsequently threatened a member of staff and demeaned access to the till.
After gaining access he proceeded to remove an amount of cash before leaving the store.
The man is described as a white, approximately 5ft 9 tall with slim build and with a local accent.
He is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured hooded top with a light coloured zip on the front, grey tracksuit bottoms with dark trainers and had grey, black and white gloves on.
He was also wearing a green coloured hat which had eye holes cut into it that he pulled down over his face prior to entering the shop.
