Children followed home after school
Police are investigating after three schoolchildren were followed home by a man in a white car.
The incident happened at just after 4.15pm on Tuesday as the two boys and a girl, who were all aged nine, made their way along Oakfield Road in Copthorne, Shrewsbury.
The trio were approached by a man in a white Citroen car, who was playing very loud music. He drove past them and then turned his car around and beckoned them over. They ignored him and he then followed them along the road as they ran home. The three were unharmed but left shaken by the incident.
Dan Butler, communications officer at West Mercia Police said: "On September 12 at approximately 4.40pm West Mercia Police received a report of suspicious circumstances on Oakfield Road, Shrewsbury. Investigations are currently on-going."
