The three men, who were wearing balaclavas, overtook the victim's blue Vauxhall Zafira in the early hours of Sunday morning on Finger Road in Dawley, Telford.

They used their new-style, black Vauxhall Astra to force him to swerve, where he hit a small post on the side of the road.

After stopping his car, the victim was approached by three men from the Astra, one of whom stood at the driver's partially open side window and demanded his wallet.

After handing over his wallet, the three men walked back to their car and drove away.

They later threw his wallet out of the window, and when he recovered it he found his money had been taken.

As well as the black balaclavas, the men were reported to have been wearing hooded tops and jeans, and drove off towards the Brookside area.

No arrests or charges have been made in the investigation and police are still looking for anybody with information to come forward.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 101 and quote incident number 34s of September 17.

Alternatively witnesses can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
