Telford street fight: Gang of 30 teenagers met at Southwater to watch brawl

A police investigation has been launched after a group of about 30 youths gathered in the centre of Telford to watch a fight.

It is thought that the incident in Southwater near the Mecca Bingo club on October 23 was 'organised' .

West Mercia Police said officers were called to reports of a large group of around 30 teenagers who had gathered to watch fight at about 5.05pm.

The offenders' are described as young males, aged between 17 to 19 years old, who were wearing grey hooded tops, black jeans and carrying rucksacks. Some also had bicycles.

Witnesses with any information should contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 492S or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
