Man, 20, accused of drug dealing in Bridgnorth

A man has appeared before magistrates accused of dealing drugs.

Alex Hill, 20, faced offences of possession of a quantity of diamorphine with intent to supply, possession of 44 wraps of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of a bladed article, in Lodge Lane, Bridgnorth, on October 29.

The case relates to an incident when a man was stabbed in the leg in Bridgnorth shortly after 7pm on Sunday.

Hill, of Longfield House, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, gave no pleas at the hearing held at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday on Tuesday.

He was denied bail and remanded in custody until November 27 when the matter will be heard at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
