Drug dealing in residential areas of Wolverhampton
Drug dealing continues to be an issue in residential areas of Wolverhampton, a new report has revealed.
The cultivation of cannabis as well as the dealing of class A drugs remains a priority for police patrolling neighbourhoods including Bushbury South, Low Hill and Oxley.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward to help them tackle the problem.
According to the neighbourhood police teams in the areas, officers are gathering intelligence on the distribution of cannabis and class A drugs on the Dovecotes and Rakegate estates.
They are also carrying out patrols in Low Hill area, particularly in relation to the cultivation of cannabis.
In a statement made in the police team newsletter for November, officers said: "Drug dealing continues to be a priority for the team and we will continue to take action against those responsible."
Anyone who is able to help the police with their enquiries is urged to contact them on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 111 555.
