Man, 26, charged with wounding woman in stabbing at Telford house
A 26-year-old man has charged with wounding after a woman was allegedly stabbed in the neck at a house in Telford.
The incident happened at a house in Ken Jones Close, Lightmoor, at about 4.30am on Wednesday.
West Mercia Police spokesman Paul Roberts said today: "Darren Sloane, 26 years old and from Wigmores in the Woodside area of Telford, was charged yesterday with section 18 wounding – grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a bladed article in a public place and theft.
"He was remanded to appear at Telford Magistrates Court today..
"This follows police being called to an incident at a house on Ken Jones Close, Lightmoor in the early hours of 8 November."
