Woman 'critical' after crash on A41 near Albrighton
A woman is in hospital with "critical injuries" after a crash on the A41 in Telford.
The crash happened between Albrighton and Tong around 4.40pm on Wednesday
A silver BMW X6 was travelling along the A41 towards Tong and a grey Peugeot 208 was travelling in the opposite direction when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 80s, was taken to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth hospital with what are believed to be critical injuries.
No-one else was injured.
Enquiries are currently ongoing but police would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision.
