Wem window smashing spree
Vandals have targeted two homes in Wem, smashing windows in properties and cars.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the criminal damage which caused thousands of pounds of damage.
On both occasions two people were spotted leaving the scene.
On Tuesday at about 12.30am two front windows were smashed at the Halo hair and beauty salon in Wem. Two figures were seen leaving the vicinity.
At about the same time on Wednesday a resident in Shrubbery Gardens, Wem reported that windows had been smashed at their house and in the car. Police say again two figures were seen in the vicinity.
A spokesman said: "If you have witnessed or have any information regarding these incidents please contact West Mercia police on 101 or the Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111, stating the incident number 0082S 020118 for January 2 or 0007S 030118 for January 3."
