Mother and son in court over Shrewsbury firm fraud allegation
A woman has appeared in court accused of defrauding a Shrewsbury-based firm out of more than £126,000 while working as a bookkeeper and wages clerk.

Ann Jones, of Heritage Way, Llanymynech, Powys, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.
The 58-year-old is accused of defrauding Jim Dorricott Construction Ltd out of £126,892.26 between March 2013 and May 2016.
Her son Craig Smith, 35, of Balfour Close, Northampton, also appeared in court accused of acting together with his mother to acquire criminal property – £33,774.03 in cash.
Neither of them indicated a plea to the charges.
The case was sent to Shrewsbury Crown Court where the pair are expected to appear on February 26.
They were released on unconditional bail until the hearing.
