Man has leg broken in Market Drayton assault
A man has had his leg broken and suffered serious facial injuries in an attack by two men outside a Market Drayton community centre.
West Mercia Police are investigating the incident, which took place outside the entrance to the Beacon Community Centre.
Two men were said to have attacked the victim, in his 40s, who was walking along Longslow Road with a woman between 1.15am and 2.30am on Saturday.
Police said that as the pair were outside the community centre they were approached by the men, who assaulted the man.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 78S of February 10.
