Soldier had Hitler stickers, guns, knives and CS gas, jury told
Adolf Hitler stickers, knives and guns and were discovered in a home being renovated by a soldier charged with terrorism offences, a court heard.
The Nazi paraphernalia was found in a home near Oswestry belonging to Lance Corporal Mikko Vehvilainen.
He is on trial for being part of the banned neo-Nazi group National Action.
A jury heard that when officers searched a home he was renovating in Llansilin, they found Hitler stickers, Nazi badges, Swastika bunting, knives, a shotgun and a rifle.
When officers entered another house he owned, at the Sennybridge Camp in Powys, they found body armour and an arsenal of weaponry, the trial was told.
Birmingham Crown Court also heard how an illustrated picture of white nationalist Anders Breivik gunning down a group of people, including ethnic minorities, was found in his Sennybridge home.

Jurors heard that counter terrorism officers from North Wales and Dyfed-Powys searched the house Vehvilainen was renovating in Llansilin on September 5, 2017.
Army trainer Vehvilainen, 33, and fellow Royal Anglian Regiment soldier Private Mark Barrett, 25, of Dhekalia station, Cyprus, but formerly of Kendrew Barracks, Cottesmore, Rutland, are both charged with being members of banned group National Action.
A 23-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also stands accused of the same charge.
Vehvilainen is also accused of two counts of stirring up racial hatred and possessing a document containing terrorist information, known as the Anders Breivik Manifesto.
Jurors have already been told that Vehvilainen has admitted possession of a CS gas canister, also found at Llansilin.
The trial, expected to last another three weeks, continues.
