Then in the early hours of Saturday a car in Keepers Crescent, St Georges, was "engulfed in flames".

It's believed all of the fires were started deliberately and police are treating them as arson. No-one was injured in any of the incidents,

Detective Sergeant Danielle Logan of Telford CID said: "We're carrying out inquiries into all of these incidents and looking at whether or not they are linked. We're asking anyone who may have witnessed any of the fires, or have information about who may be responsible, to get in contact with us.

"We're working with our local safer neighbourhood teams to offer reassurance to local residents in the areas that have been affected and cannot stress enough the dangers of setting fires and the potential serious consequences it could have."
