First it was six Mercedes, now Lamborghini supercar is stopped in police blitz on driving
A high-powered Lamborghini was stopped on a main road for having no number plates.
A road policing team in Newtown was carrying out routine checks on the A483 as part of the TISPOL speed campaign.
Officers stopped the red Lamborghini Aventador 700 after noticing it had no number plates fitted, and issued the driver with a £100 fine.
It comes just over a week since police launched an investigation after six high-powered Mercedes sports cars were stopped for anti-social driving.
The force said it had received a number of complaints about the manner the cars were driven in the Llanidloes area.
All of the drivers were given official warnings for anti-social driving, and two cars were reported for number plate offences.
