Man, 27, arrested over Telford alleyway sex attack
A man has been arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Telford alleyway.
The incident happened between 1.30am and 3am on Saturday, in an alleyway off Charlecote Park in Newdale.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, suffered cuts and bruises in the attack.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack and is in police custody.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 101 quoting reference 425s 200518.
