Tyrone Dorsett: Three arrests in murder investigation
Police have confirmed three men were arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of a Telford man.
The arrests, as part of the hunt for the killer of Tyrone Dorsett, 20, from Priorslee, were all on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
All three men have since been released under investigation and West Midlands Police, who are in charge of the investigation, have confirmed their enquiries into the killing are ongoing.
Mr Dorsett was shot dead in Birmingham on April 15, near to Birmingham City Football Club’s St Andrew’s stadium.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Three men, aged 43, 24, and 20 have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and have been released under investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Tyrone Dorsett, had been facing a charge of violent disorder relating to an incident in Shrewsbury on June 14 and 15 last year. In a hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court this week, Judge Peter Barrie closed the file on the case after being informed of Mr Dorsett's death.
