Boy, 16, charged with murdering man in Telford assault

The teenager was appearing before Kidderminster magistrates today.

Two men arrested in connection with the attack in Withywood Drive, Malinslee, have been released on police bail. A woman and two other teenage boys have been released under investigation.

The victim, in his 40s, was found unconscious at around 4.30pm on Monday and was taken to hospital, but died of his injuries.

Enquiries into the man’s death are ongoing and police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Increased patrols will be carried out in the area to offer reassurance to the local community.
