Man arrested after teenage boys assaulted in Shrewsbury
A man has been arrested in connection with an assault on two teenage boys in Shrewsbury.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the boys were assaulted in the Castle Walk Park area of town, near to the Castle Walk footbridge.
The incident took place between 4.30pm and 5pm on May 30, when a man believed to be carrying a bladed article approached the teenagers and punched them.
One of the victims sustained facial injuries and both were left shaken following the assault by a man described as white, of slim build, 6ft tall and riding a mountain bike.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police enquiries are ongoing.
