Man appears in court charged with Shrewsbury stabbing
A man has appeared in court after a stabbing in Shrewsbury.
Kalon James White, 22, of Hawkestone Road, Shrewsbury, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded to appear in court again at a later date.
It follows an incident on Meadow Farm Drive in Shrewsbury on Friday when a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but was later discharged and his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
