Telford man to face crown court trial over £300,000 theft charge

A former Telford finance manager charged with stealing £300,000 from his employer will appear at crown court.

Richard Dickens is charged with fraud by false representation and theft by employee to the value of £300,000.

He did not offer a plea at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.

Dickens, 37, of Broomhurst Way, Muxton, is charged with stealing the money from Holstein UK, a dairy breed society.

He has been released on bail until he appears at Shrewsbury Crown Court on October 1.
