Stuart Jonathon Dundas, of Vineyard Road, Wellington, was ordered to pay £285 in fines by magistrates at Telford after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

The 32-year-old also opposed a criminal behaviour order.

Dundas, 32, tried to kick down the doors to his mother's and mother's neighbour's flats demanding to be let in on September 11.

Abigail Hall, prosecuting, said: "At 8.40pm the defendant's mother rang 999 saying her son had been kicking her and her neighbour's doors. Officers arrived at the address and saw Dundas was extremely intoxicated. He was repeatedly kicking his mother's door while shouting and swearing for her to let him in."

The court heard Dundas left the address, but later returned where he was arrested by police.

Magistrates heard he admitted being drunk and disorderly and accepted he was kicking the doors to their flats in an attempt to get in."

Dundas was ordered to pay a £120 fine, a £30 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

A contested hearing for a criminal behaviour order was made for Dundas, taking place on October 22 at Telford Magistrates Court.
