Police chase drug supply suspect through town
A man was arrested in connection with supplying drugs after a chase on foot through a town.
Several police officers chased the man through Welshpool after being spotted near the Powysland Museum. The man was taken into custody for questioning.
A police spokesman said: "A male was arrested for being concerned in the supply of drugs following a foot chase by officers.
"Information suggests he was offering drugs for sale, he has been questioned and enquiries are ongoing.”
